Intuitive movement
This isn't another something that needs to be learned. In fact, you can already do it with your eyes closed! It "simply" (!) involves switching off your thinking mind and allowing your body to move intuitively. Outwardly it may resemble other dance forms, like somatic movement, but for me the beauty - and perhaps the uniqueness - lies in the guidance from deep within. We create the space to feel our selves in the present moment and to listen to our soul speaking to us throug

Dance
I love to dance and dance has accompanied me my whole life. I began ballet when I was three years old, I also dabbled with tap dance, modern, and jazz in my younger years. At school I lead an after-school dance club for younger pupils where I would teach choreographies that I spent hours putting together. In my late teenage years and twenties I lived for going clubbing! I felt alive on the dance floor and, as Faithless rightly claimed: God Is a DJ, and boy did I worship them!

My fasting journey
As a teenager I had severe acne. When I was 15, a dermatologist prescribed me a roll-on ointment for my skin, the contraceptive pill, and antibiotics. I received repeat prescriptions for these antibiotic tablets for years until I registered with a new doctor’s surgery when we moved home. The new doctor (GP) told me to stop taking them immediately. I was often sick as a teenager and young adult. I came down with a cold numerous times a year and it was typical for me to have a

At some point though, often quietly and unexpectedly, a

Courage: live your truth
Courage is the breakthrough level on David Hawkins’ Map of Consciousness . The levels of consciousness on his map can be seen as levels of awareness, or energy, ranging from very low energy (anxiety, guilt, anger.) to high energy (acceptance, love, peace), to name a few. He calibrated courage at the consciousness level 200, explaining that at this critical level our quality of life changes. This is why showing courage is so good for us. When we act courageously, we operate a

Inner work
Lived spirituality Spirituality, for me, is about dedication to inner responsibility and inner transformation. It is the work that takes place within us, in our thoughts and hearts — unseen by others, yet the place where everything matters. It is hard work - I speak from experience - and it requires dedication, an open heart, and guidance. A supportive network of like-minded people and a good sense of humour helps, too! As our inner world changes, so does everything around us

The drama triangle
I remember the moment I first learned about the drama triangle. I was in training for a volunteer role I was about to begin, back in 2021. It was one of those moments where it felt as if someone had suddenly switched a light on. So many things became clear all at once. From that point onwards, I was able to analyse and better understand not only my own behaviour, but also the behaviour of the people around me. What I learned in that training only scratched the surface, so nat
